If you’ve been away for a long while, however, it’s extremely critical that you get in sooner rather than later to help ensure the health of your teeth.
- If you think you are going to fake us out by starting to brush and floss now – good! That’s great! Even if you are just now getting into a brushing and flossing routine, you are establishing good habits. Keep that momentum up!
- Do not be afraid if notice a little bit of bleeding when you floss, though. Once you get back into the swing of it, you will notice it does not happen as much anymore.
Be realistic about the scope of your dental appointment. Do not be surprised if we greet you at the door with new patient paperwork, advise X-rays, and start with a comprehensive dental cleaning. - Ask us to work with you. Our patients do not lapse for no reason, so we understand that there were circumstances that kept you away. Please feel free to discuss your concerns with us and we will work with you to ensure your comfort.
